Bio

Katerina (Kat) Ioannides is a political strategist and fundraiser with a decade of experience at the intersection of politics and technology. She currently works at the leading technology provider for Democratic campaigns and nonprofits, and serves as Finance Director for California Women’s List.

Kat previously served as Deputy Director of Western U.S. Finance for the Harris–Walz presidential campaign, where she helped execute 63 fundraisers across nine states, raising $143 million as part of a record-breaking $2 billion national operation.

Before that, she spent four years at ActBlue, managing Western accounts and scaling digital fundraising for hundreds of campaigns and progressive organizations. Her work included launching the platform’s first statewide partnership with the California Democratic Party, designing and leading a campaign finance bootcamp that trained more than 250 candidates and staff, and driving record growth in highly complex compliance environments through product-first, systems-level solutions.

Earlier in her career, Kat managed a historic California Assembly race that flipped a Republican district and outraised an incumbent 4:1. She later led organizing for Senator Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign in Los Angeles and Orange County. She's advised state caucuses and national organizations, including Flip The West, the Wisconsin Assembly Democrats, and the Utah House Democrats. Her experience also includes work in both chambers of the California Legislature and early-stage tech startups.

Kat lives in Los Angeles and enjoys reading, running, and teaching yoga in her free time.
